Still busy with the holiday preprations. Made Apple-cinnamon ornaments like my mom made. Then decorated them with glitter. Try telling a three year old when he has enought glue and glitter. What a mess. But they came out great.
- 1/3 cup ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2/3 cup applesauce (store bought)
Combine cinnamon and flour with applesauce. Roll out and cut with cookie cutter. Pierce with hole for hanging. (straw works great) Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 200 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Watch to ensure that edges don't curl. Makes about 12 small ornaments. Very fragrant but definitely NOT EDIBLE (they aren't toxic, they just don't taste good). Makes approximately 12 ornaments.
